The Cornish Chamber of Mines & Minerals (CCMM) was pleased to attend the UK Mining Conference in Falmouth this month. The conference was buzzing with a record number of delegates and many familiar faces from near and far.
The UK Mining Conference was created by Cornish Lithium in 2021 and continues to grow and diversify every year. This year there were a record number of 480 delegates to the main conference, with many more exhibiting or attending the extra workshops and site visits. The event was held over several days, with twelve events at six local venues here in Cornwall.
Conference events included lively geological and geothermal workshops, visits to local industry and engaging technical talks at the main venue, The Princess Pavillion. There were over thirty exhibitors and the Pavilion hosted many enjoyable networking sessions, where we caught up with our membership, colleagues and peers from Cornwall, the UK and beyond.
